Congratulations to Scott Harris!

Scott Harris became the latest Portsmouth MX Club rider to be crowned as the Shaun Simpson Rider of the Meeting after his spectacular performance at the club’s two day event at Foxhill during August.  He was really at the top of his game and rode the best he has ever ridden!

Scott has always been in the mix at the front of the pack at each round to keep himself in contention of a top six result at the end of the year, but going out all guns blazing at Foxhill, not only did he manage to scoop up the runner-up spot on the second day of racing, he can also now proudly boast he is a prestigious Rider of the Meeting!! Well done Scott, totally deserved!! 

Scott was presented with a SS24 trophy, a Simpson Army cap, a SS24 poster, stickers, headwear liners by Drybrow, all kindly donated by Shaun, plus a voucher from Ironsight Paintball courtesy of Paul Dunford at the clubs recent meeting at Grittenham.

This is truly just reward for all the hard work and effort Scott put’s into his racing, and hopefully this will continue until the end of the season.
