90 Racing Team-Up at Caistor

It’s not often that you come across two clubs from different affiliations, joining together to host a meeting…but this weekend just goes to show what can come of clubs making sensible decisions to benefit the riders!

Any meeting with one club at Caistor track was going to be good, but join two clubs together, at a fabulous venue and you end up with a weekend of great racing from hundreds of riders!

90 Racing and White Rose MXC hosted a fantastic meetingand a great weekend was had by all. Despite Saturdays weather looking a bit dubious, Sunday turned out brilliant and a full three blocks of racing was had.

Amping up the competitive edge, the 90 Racing Championship is looking exciting and we’re still relatively early into the season. Graham Haddow leads the autos, and took the overall win at the weekend and it’s the exact same story in the juniors with Tyla Hooley in the top spot. In the small wheels it’s Cameron Box sitting atop the Championship with Jaygo Beasty (who claimed the overall at Caistor) in second, whilst Ethan Tollet tops the big wheel championship, not surprisingly considering his performance at the weekend.

Kurt Griffiths stretches out his Championship lead to 19 points over Will Young in the Rookie 2 stroke class, whilst their 4 stroke counterpart Champion is Aaron-Lee Hanson who once again dominated at the weekend. The Novice C Championship is led by Tom Uniacke, the Inters B by Sverrier Olgeirsson, the Expert A’s by Lee Harrison and it’s Anthony Houseman who’s currently claimed the topstep in the vets.

That could all change however, with 90 Racings next meeting at Finningley on the 28th and 29th of May for some bank holiday action!
