The MCF understands the issues of running a modern event that are faced by its member clubs, one of which is costs. The MCF offering everything discussed below to its clubs for an incredible one off event fee of as little as £549:00.

When you become a member club of the MCF you will discover the friendly service and incredible support that this will afford you. The MCF have worked hard to put together everything that you will need to run a successful and safe event and will work hard with your club executives to ensure a full understanding of MCF procedures.

The staff at the MCF keeps abreast of all of the legal and insurance requirements that come along with running a race event and minimise the impact on its member clubs, allowing organisers to concentrate on running quality meetings for its riders.

A comprehensive club event pack will be supplied to the club secretary once affiliated as a member of the MCF.

The standard cost for an event package is £500 with alternative arrangements in place for individual cases.

EVENT PERMITS
To enable our clubs to run their events with complete peace of mind, the MCF issue an exemption permit under the Motor Vehicles (Off Road Events) Regulations 1995. This is essential for running an event in the modern world and affords the event exemption from articles 1, 2 and 3, covering driving offences, of the Road Traffic Act 1988. The permits are issued at a minimal cost of £49:00 per event.

EVENT INSURANCE
As an affiliated member of the MCF you become included within our comprehensive insurance package. The package includes £10,000,000 of public liability cover, £10,000,000 of Employers Liability as well as personal accident and rehabilitation cover for all officials.

Should a club require a higher level of liability cover we will be able to dicuss, this on an individual basis, with our insurance provider.

OFFICIALS TRAINING
During the season the MCF will work with its member clubs to conduct training for their major event officials.
Mutually acceptable arrangements will be made with clubs for a member of the team to conduct the training.

COURSE CERTIFICATION
On request from a club, an MCF official will arrange to visit tracks and advise on layout and safety requirements prior to events. These visits will take place along with a club member giving the opportunity for us to keep in touch with our organisers and discuss any club issues that may arise.
