As part of its commitment to the clubs and its riders the MCF will be introducing the Grand Slam Final event in September onto its calendar. The top riders from each participating club in the Elite Youth League will be invited to take part in the event with each club being given the option of introducing one wild card club member into its line up.
As an aid to the clubs, the event will be organised by the MCF, with the entry fees paid by each rider being donated to their clubs funds, thus allowing them to start to invest club development. Six classes will be run to mirror the League from Autos through to the AMX Juniors. Each rider will be competing for individual glory, with each class overall winner being crowned the MCF Individual Club Champions giving the club riders the opportunity of standing on the same podium as the Pro National riders.
To add a little extra spice to the event each rider will also be scoring points towards their clubs final League total, again this will be calculated on their overall position. Following on from the Grand Slam presentation there will be a presentation for the winning League Club where all that hard work and dedication will be rewarded with the glory of victory.
